Multiple laser-cut layers highlight the terrain types, water elements, and trails of Guadalupe Mountains National Park. A masonite laser-cut road map is overlaid onto thin maple wood with layers of acid-free cotton-pulp Italian- & French-made paperboards beneath. Marked on the map are major hiking and backpacking trail routes. The map is constructed inside a frame made from Canadian white pine, with a crystal-clear acrylic glazing.
Total framed dimensions are 8.5″ x 10.5″ x 1.25″ deep.
Text is etched onto the frame as follows:
