Charlie spent nearly twenty years as a professional graphic designer and has also taught art and design to every age, from kindergarten to college. In 2016 he launched his studio Homestyle Charlie. His glass jewelry has been featured in the magazine Belle Armoire Jewelry. All of Homestyle Charlie's handmade ornaments/charms are made with lead-free solder, using the copper foil method of construction developed by Tiffany Glass Studios in the 1880s.
